Submissions

Fractured West is a new print magazine for flash fiction. We want readers to see things in a different way. For this, we need writers who write things in a different way. Surprise us.

We welcome submissions from all writers, but are particularly interested in new, unpublished, and emerging writers.

• SEND your best work in the body of an email to
  submissions@fracturedwest.com
• MAX 500 words, but the shorter the better – stories over 500 words will be deleted unread
• ONE story at a time; you may submit another when we get back to you about the first one.
• POETRY submissions are not accepted at present
• BIOS are not vital but will be read with interest
• DEADLINES are unimportant; we accept/reject on a rolling basis
• PAYMENT will be one copy of the print magazine

Call For Cover Artwork

• A repeating pattern with a few strong colours.
• No figures or too many recognisable objects, as it should not
  suggest a narrative.
• Simple but interesting, as it will be used for the cover, website, and promotional material in various sizes.
• If you do not have suitable artwork but would be interested in producing a new piece for our cover, send a small sample of your work.
