At Fractured West we don’t set the themes, but the stories we choose always seem to have elements in common. This might reflect where the two of us are in our lives, what rings true with us, what makes us react.

Over the last few months we have been drawn to stories of the foreign and the familiar: the difficulties of getting close even when you’re near enough to touch. The theme that emerged was The Pull of Distance, and we hope that these stories will show you intimacy and force your escape.
